Also i have looking into my daughters education I feel so far that state school doesn’t seem to step up, is it to the standard of main stream school in the UK? As it is my 1St priority. Also with regards to tax as a lone parent how would it work is it the same as the UK? medical insurance for my daughter how would that work.

Hi all,

I appreciate anyone that can help me ASAP. I had my residency card stolen at a festival here in Switzerland. I have been searching for hours now on the internet as to how I can get a replacement but cannot find any information. I am on holidays for the next months in Europe and do not wish to return to Spain until the end of Summer. Please can someone tell me how to have it replaced from outside Spain??

Hello, I am a 6 year old English Bulldog looking for a new family to adopt me. My family are moving back to the UK, they would love to take me with them but it is not possible. I am very loving and affectionate, a great companion, I am also a great guard dog, I am great with children and other animals. I love my walks and being made a fuss of. I am micro-chipped, I love travelling in the car. Please do not criticise my family, this is heartbreaking enough for them as it is, this decision has not been easy or made in haste. PLEASE will somebody love me as much as they do !!!! We are running out of time. love from Harley x

¡Hola

Hello

I’ve read different post’s/articles on NIE and residency and am a little confused. I previously read it was best to wait 2 years before applying for residence if living here illegally. I read today that an immigrant should apply for a NIE and can apply for an NIE prior to applying for residency so that you can apply/get a job. I’m confused, I want to take the right steps can someone please advise. I’ve currently been here in Spain for 6 months, I have a Social Security Number and have gone to the “empadronamiento.”

Thanks in advance for your help!
