Hi All,

Buenos Dias e Que Tal…

I have been touring France and Spain for 12 months, currently residing at Camping Didota, Oropesa Del Mar.

Problem is, my Internet Business has changed owners and I cannot get any funds out ($140,000).

My stay here at Oropesa ends June 30th and I will not be able to afford another camping site for Summer and I desperately need to park my caravan until the season finishes.

I am travelling South along the coast, next stop Altea, Alicante.

If not… Caravan For Sale…

I have a Camper to live in (Minibus conversion) and can use a campsite maybe once or twice a week with that…

Thanks, in anticipation… xx

Hello

I am an english woman currently living in the Domincan Republic with my Dominican husband and our three small children.

I speak spanish very well and actually own my own business here in the DR, however as we have decided as a family to move back to the UK and as we are self employed here we can not apply for a spouse visa even though we earn three times the minimum income otherwise required.

So it has been sugessted we travel to an EU country first and Spain is the obvious choice as we are a spanish speaking family and I have to find work (even though financially we will not needed) so as we can then apply for a Family permit to move back to the UK.

As i have three small children and do not need to earn a particular amount, just be employed or self empoyed in Spain, I am looking for suggestions of work i can do that is part-time or on a self employed basis. We will be living off our salaries from the Dominican Republic. In a perfect world i would like a job where i could work from home, but I am open to sugestions and advice.

We have not decided on an area just yet, ideally Madrid would be perfect as being near the english consulate would be an advantage, however i realize the south and expat areas would offer me more perhaps.

I need advice on schools for my daughter who will be six in July, she is a spanish speaker, but understands english perfectly.

Advice on best areas to live with children for 3-6 months. Furnished rental properties etc.

Also perhaps advice from anyone in a similar situation to myself or someone who has done so I would really apreciate any comments.

Hey everyone, my wife and I are moving from Germany to Spain in August. We have all the usual questions that the new Barca residents have, but our case in special in that I’m an EU citizen (Italy). I’ve asked around on several message boards about health care, and all that I’m hearing is that we should probably go with Sanitas.

But here’s my question…Once we receive our residence permits (5 years for my wife, I believe), aren’t we then able to sign up for free national healthcare? Our total income is around 2600 euros.

If Sanitas and other private companies are our only options, I’ll understand. But I’m pretty sure we can sign up for the national plan. Any thoughts?

Also, we would like to start language school as soon as we arrive. What are the best/most reputable language schools?

Thanks a lot guys!

Hello,

I am trying to gather information on the positives and negatives of retiring to Spain for research on a project. Comments on reasons as to why you moved out there would particularly useful, considering anything from finances to family etc. Anything you can provide would be much appreciated. I am a university student and am gaining no profit from this it’s just for my coursework sorry to mention this but a few other forums are very strict about users posting asking for answers in regards to research.

Thanks a lot,

Hey! :D
I have just recently moved back to Spain after living and travelling in The Netherlands. I am a native from England.
Have just decided to come back and fulfill a dream of teaching English so I am currently here looking for some advice. I am currently doing a 120 hour online TEFL course and making good progress.
I am staying currently in Fuengirola and plan on living and staying in the area of here. Considering also Malaga area as I believe there are more language schools there that need native English teachers.
I have a good level of Spanish, bit rusty at the moment!. But now I am looking for an apartment or house to rent. I can see that the housing costs are much cheaper than 2 years ago which is great! But I am guessing that the wages have also gone down?
Sorry not sure where to write this but this is a introduction as to why I am here
If anyone has information on where to find TEFL jobs in Malaga or any decent place online to find housing to rent please let me know. I have been looking but maybe someone knows some inside information!

Thanks
