My landlord just informed me that I need to pay extra for my electricity for Juli. I believe there must be something wrong with the meter readings. I can’t possibly have used that much.

He then said that 15€ of electricity is included in my contract. I speek and read very little spanish, but I understood the contract as having 30€ included.

I have included the relevant section below, can someone tell me who of us is right?

Se recuerda a ambas partes que los suministros de agua y luz correrán por cuenta del arrendador, pero con un tope de 30 euros de agua y 30 euros de luz, ambos importes bimensuales, pasado este importe el arrendatario deberá pagar la diferencia.

edit/ I think I posted this in the wrong topic.

My son is 11 years old and we both have dual American/Spanish citizenship, we just moved back to Spain (Cordoba) last month in order to be closer to family, but now I’m having a really hard time trying to figure out a school for him. I can’t put him in public school since he doesn’t know any Spanish, and the only public bi-lingual schools here have no spots available for him, the only other option is the British private school but the tuition fees are outrageous…help!! Is there some kind of special programs for kids in this situation or scholarship??? Something???

Firstly i would just like to say hello, ive used this forum for a while now but never really posted until now. Anyhow recently my family got property here in torrevieja as a holiday home. I enjoy the spanish lifestyle and surroundings, however back at home i smoke almost everyday and i feel not being able to get any here in torrevieja is spoiling my holiday as i enjoy a smoke with my daily routine. Obviously i know its out there but due to only coming maybe one or two weeks every year i dont get the chance to socialise with the locals etc and find out where to get it. Basically i was just wondering if anyone would be kind enough to inbox me (PM) the best places to go. I suspected the beach would be a prime location but i have not been yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Dot

Hi everyone who lives in cave houses.

I am looking to move to the Granada region with a specific interest in cave houses. I’m wondering how the cave houses coped with the heavy rains in winter, were any areas of Granada particularly flooded & were there any problems with water seeping through the caves?

Thanks in anticipation.
