Seeking Salon Experience

Hi All

Myself and my partner are planning the ‘Big Move’ to the Costa Del Sol in January however im concerned, like many others, how difficult it will be to find a job. My boyfriend is 22 and a qualified Electrician. He is going to go Self Emlployed and rely on advertising in local newspapers.

Im 21 and qualified as a professional Semi-Permenant Eyelash Extension Artist and looking to find work as a Junior in a beauty salon. I do not have any salon experience as i have been office based since 16 and doing eyelashes in my spare time. I am not looking for a brilliant salary (as i dont speak much spanish) however need enough to get by (to begin with). I would love to become a beauty therapist and train as i work.

I may be asking of a lot though your comments would be much appreciated and if anyone has a salon in the Costa Del Sol who may be interested in giving me a trial i would love to hear from you.

Hi, Can anybody give me any Advise about working in a Residential Care Home {English}
I am a Care Assistant in the u.k. a Job I Love doing.
What Qualifications are Required ?? are these jobs hard to find ??
I know there are some British care homes in Spain But would like a bit of feedback if
anybody as worked in one.

Hi - I wonder if anyone may be able to advise me. My partner and I are planning to move to Spain in 2009 and if possible I would like to take on some private Psychotherapy work with ex pat clients (as my spanish is very basic). I specialise in working with children and teenagers, partcularly around post traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, self harm and body image. I realise my area of work is rather narrow but I’m just wondering if anyone has experience of gaining this kind of employment in Spain? Any advice would be welcome.

Vaughan Systems, leading English language recruitment firm in Spain and founder of the first bilingual radio and digital TV channel, seeks teachers for an important National Education Project funded by the Spanish government.

- Work a 9-6 schedule, Monday to Friday
- 40 hours guaranteed per week, choice between 3 or 4 weeks per month
- Contracts as short as 2 months and up to 10 months
- No experience required, full training provided
- Teach students between 18-30 years in small groups

Qualifications:
The main requirements for a teaching position at Vaughan are:

Compensation:
We offer two types of contracts:
