Hi, would appreciate any teccie info from those who know;)

I am moving to a townhouse where there is only a weak signal for my Movistar mobile.
I can get a signal if I stick it out the upstairs window! (But lose it as soon as I bring it inside.)

Q - Is there any bit of kit/wire I could rig up permanently that I can plug the phone into to get a boosted/better
signal?

(I know it may also depend on the type of socket I have on my phone - I have two different models of Nokia.
Am I wrong in thinking one can plug into the headset socket and the wire off this acts as an aerial?  - Just trying
to think laterally here!)

Any hints/tips/advice welcome 😊

I have seen this on Amazon, but it seems like you still have to have a signal (on the phone itself) for the above to work.
No good if I don’t want to put the phone out the window as described above ^ 😉

With all the new messaging technologies, you could consider purchasing a new smartphone and installing apps like Skype, WhatsApp and Viber. They should do the trick!
