I’ve not been as regular a visitor to the forums as in previous years. Have been very busy with work and also following my local team, Granada CF - who made the fantastic journey via consecutive promotions, from 2?B4 to 1?.

I’ve been quite active covering Granada CF on one of the most prominent English language Spanish football sites, http://elcentrocampista.com/ if you’re interested in reading some good articles, primarily regarding Liga BBVA teams.

Whilst I follow Granada CF, I’ve also provided the data research for the popular PC management game, Football Manager. Last season I predicted promotion via the play-offs, the Spanish researchers scoffed. They did it. This season, Granada were favourites for relegation, I predicted they’d be amongst the mid-table teams. So far it’s been a struggle, but they’re holding their own and I’m confident they’ll remain in the top level of Spanish football.

For the first time this season I had to get a season ticket, due to the demand and near enough maximum attendances at Nuevo Los C?rmenes. It’s been a great journey and little could I have imagined a few years ago, that I’d get to see Granada playing the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atl?tico Madrid, Valencia and Athletic Club Bilbao.

So if you’re interested, keep an eye on http://elcentrocampista.com/ and if you follow your local team, let me know your thoughts on how you’ve found the experience.

Yeah, I was fortunate enough to see the Spanish team play the Czech Republic in Granada last year. 😊
