Hello,
I have been working as self employed in Spain for 4 years, I employ 3 people and business is going well. However, I myself moved back to the UK recently, this will be a permanent move. So...what are my options with regards to continuing the business in Spain, whilst I am non resident?
I am aware that perhaps being Spain self employed and non resident are not compatible so I need to know if there are other options that would work in my favor or at least allow me to continue with the business.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Katz, I am sure there is no reason why you cannot direct your business from the U.K. However, it would be wisest to consult a professional (tax consultant and/or lawyer) to ensure the mechanism is duly documented and in order.
Good luck

Company would probably be the cleanest option if you are staying in the UK for a while but talk to a Spanish Accountant for advice & set up.

Katz, I cannot recommend higly enough our Spanish Tax Advisor -
maria jose hevilla of cohesa consulting in Coin.
She is the owner/tax consultant and has a very good reputation locally.
(She has also worked in Madrid for price cooper etc and knows her stuff!)
She recently helped me with a sitution vaguely similar to yours.
She also has UK based clients who still own/run businesses in Spain, so I would say she
has a good idea of how to help you.
If you cannot find her details on the web, please PM me and I will be glad to forward...
Best regards..
pps - She is totatly bi-lingual and her English is excellent (if that were a must...)
