Learning spanish

Me and my husband want to learn spanish can anyone advise which is the best way either to do a course or do the learning discs and books work we only know the very basics of the language thanks

You do not say whether you are still in your own country or here in Spain.

If you are in Spain you could seek out private tuition (for example approach a Spanish school and see if one of the teachers might be interested in giving private tuition). I don't have much belief myself - a personal opinion - in discs and the like. If you are still in your own country you will find that Spanish classes are available in many towns/cities . Look up the Instituto Cervantes.

If you can find someone locally in the UK try for some one-on-one tuition and back it up with books, dvd's etc

Also try the BBC...
