Can any one help please I have been trying to get an SIP health card for a long time now and at present have a temporary one that i renew on a regular basis in my doctors surgery. I am told oh yes it will arrive soon in other words maybe. I have residencia and own a property but have not reached UK Retirement age of 65 i have still got 3 years to go. I dont work here mainly because of a serious illness 2 years ago. I have the EHIC but i believe that can only be used for those just on a visit. Just how do i get the card i Have tried the UK gov website and got nowhere ❓

Residencia and owning property does not entitle you to a SIP card.
Full pensioners automatically receive one (OK after a registration process) other ‘early retiree’ people only have access to the Spanish health system for a limited time based on their UK NI contributions.
