Hi, I am intending to move to Spain next year and live in a caravan. With this in mind,I am trying to work everything out beforehand and would like some advice on opening a Spanish bank account. What will I need to do this. I am popping over to Spain in January to check out a few things and it would be great if I could open one whilst I was there. Any advice would be most welcome.

Kind Regards
Chris.

Money, Passport and a UK address will normally give you access to a Non-residents current account with most major banks… Be careful with Santander however the names the same but has little correlation with the UK bank of the same name…

Thanks for that piece of advice. That doesn’t sound too bad at all and I will certainly have a go at opening one in January.
Once again Thanks And hope you have a happy new year.
