Hi everyone,

I would like to know if anyone could help me with the possible steps needed to marry my same-sex partner. I am a Lebanese citizen and my partner is Spanish but currently resides in London.

I have done a lot of research to understand better the procedures but I couldn't find answers to my case...:

My questions would be:

- Could we get married in London as a civil partnership (under the UK law) and would I be able to reside there afterwards, or should it be in Spain? or at the Spanish consulate in London?

- Do i need a special type of visa if I plan on marrying my partner? or this can be done with me entering the UK or Spain with a tourist visa and then converting it to a spouse visa/spouse residency while in the country?

I hope I can find answers here as I couldn't find answers anywhere on these questions...!

Thanks a lot!
