LIVE PREMIERSHIP ON STANDARD SPANISH TV

Ok I know that we did not move to Spain to wear flat caps, drink brown ale, wash the Mondeo on a Sunday and watch British football (or perhaps you did and dont want to admit it!) anyway I do like a UK Premiership football fix (checking out how my fantasy team is doing - badly!) and guess what the Spanish TVE2 channel which can be received via a standard Spanish TV aerial (not an expensive sat dish system) is this season broadcasting live premiership football. For those with a conscience - no problem the commentary is in Spanish so you just learning the language!

PS For those Brits with a dodgy Spanish Sky dish system you might find you have TVE2 in your package as you have probably ripped out the cable that the builder installed (by law) linked to your communal Spanish TV system.

Hey guys,

Anyone know if the premiership will be on TVE2 again this season? Been searching the net to no avail so far.

Best Regards

Hi ROBI, thanks for the response.

Can I ask, what was the coverage like last season? I've just moved over here and ideally I'd like to watch Super Sunday each week. Did TVE2 (La2?) show sunday matches?

Also, I was think of getting Canal+ Futbol as an alternative, is this good value/worthwhile?

Thanks in advance

yes it was TVE2 and they showed mainly Saturday matches live - lots of Liverpool and Arsenal. Obviously the commentary is in Spanish. But for free...............

Perfect, I'm an arsenal fan.

Cheers

W.r.t the Digital +/Canal + Futbol, would anyone recommend getting the digital package? Is it worth the money?
