JUST ABOUT TO ASKk TELEFONICA FOR PHONELINE ETC-ANY TIPS?

Hi there,

We are just about to make the call-excuse the pun to Telefonica to install phoneline etc in our newly built villa in Gran Canaria,but on reading this forum Im already worrying.
Is there a knack to getting them out and the service installed?
My husband is out in Iraq and I will be alone alot so really need the phoneline...please any tips?

Can you not get Telefonica? What about ONO and their digital phone through cable? MUCH better company.

Or call Jazztel and see if they can hook you up?

Many thanks for help.We have been warned by our Agent that Telefonica may be a huge hassle to get out thats why I thought Id ask for advice.

Do these other companies install Broadband?

Hello,
For a phone only solution there is a company called Citrus Red that can provide trac/radio phones. This is the only other company I have found (apart from the dreaded Telefonica) that provide these systems. No cabling required, it uses the Orange mobile phone network. Line rental and call costs cheaper than Telefonica. I have a number for a sales agent - 666 721 444.
