Ref Capital gains on selling property - is to be REDUCED from 35% to 18% for NON RESIDENTS in 2007 - the bad news is residents goes UP from 15% to 18%. This is to make it a level playing field and end discrimination! also exemption ended 20/1/2006 for long term owners unless aged over 65 and other factors. Rollover relief for those selling and reinvesting all monies continues.
