I am a non EU citizen and maried to an EU citizen.

I am currently living in Spain with my wife and have recently received my EU community residence card. We are not sure if we would like to settle in Spain or another EU country. Now i have my residence card, can I work and live anywhere in Europe with no problems?

Also if we would like to work in the UK is it the same rules?

thanks

I would think the answer is NO - that card applies to Spain only, but as Spain has issued it based on your status as married to an EU citizen then in theory by EU law other EU countries would do the same but with their own rules added - ie. For instance - some EU countries permit Bulgarians/Romanians to legally work - others dont

ie the card is for Spain and not the whole EU.

But I may be wrong....................
