Hi

We are moving to Spain next year(not full time) and I have been looking at the cost of Private Health care. It seems to be very expensive and was wondering if anyone knew how much visits to Doctors cost etc and just what an EHIC would cover us for. I would be grateful for any advise on this.
Many thanks

Last time I went to the doctors (had the flu) it was 65 euros.

Get the expat health insurance (http://www.spainexpat.com/spain/information/healthcare_and_insurance_in_spain/). It's probably worth it if you don't feel like the public system will cover you well enough.
