Spanish classes in Calvia/Palma region, Mallorca

Hi everyone,

I?ve recently moved to Mallorca, to the Calvia region. I?m trying to find somewhere (or someone) for weekly Spanish (Castellano) lessons and I?m not having much luck.

Most of those that I can find are based in Palma and are short, intensive courses. International House also does weekly courses, but it?s now closed for the summer holidays, re-opening in October. I want to get started asap!

I have a basic level in Spanish (I started learning in the UK in September, so I?d have something before I came here).

Can anyone recomend a teacher or classes in Calvia (Bendinat, Illetes, Magaluf, Palma Nova, etc) or Palma?

I?m looking for either classroom-based learning or somebody that can come to my house (I?m a freelance writer who works from home).

Ironically, we?re moving into flat next to one of the Calvia language schools, but it only teaches German, English and Catalan.

Thank you for any help!

Helen
