mental handicap facilities

We wish to move to Spain from Ireland but we have a 28 year old mildly mentally handicapped son. Here in Ireland we receive a carers allowance, fuel allowance, free medical care, free public transport, and he attends a day centre free of charge.
We have written to an organization called FEAPS to enquire what facilities are available in Spain but never received an answer.
Does anyone know of facilities available in Spain for the mentally handicapped or anywhere we can contact to find out details.

Thanks and regards

This may help with the finacial aspect although I think the care for handicapped persons is minimal as most are cared for totally by the family.
