MY HUSBAND AND I ARE MOVING TO SPAIN NEXT YEAR AND AM TOTALLY CONFUSED ABOUT MEDICAL INSURANCE.I AM OVER 60 AND MY HUSBAND IS 57.THE QUESTION IS DO WE NEED PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE OR NOT?DIFFERENT INTERNET SITES GIVE DIFFERENT ADVICE.IF WE DO DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO IS THE CHEAPEST TO USE.

Female UK resident over 60 normally qualify for UK State Pension, which means that if you move to Spain your will be eligible for the UK to fund you and your dependents health cover under the EEA agreement, full details are contained here

Page 40 is the one relevant to you if your are drawing UK state pension. However the best thing to do is to apply for the E121 Form, which will give all the info you need.
