Thanks Rob,
Had a look at the site. Alot of the info for Ibiza is aimed at the club scene and summer season (Been there, done that, got the T-shirt). As we are a family now we are looking
at the other side of Ibiza and would love to hear from any family's living out there and how they are doing.

Hi Gina,
wondered if you have any joy with schools yet? We are moving out in April with an and 12 year old and are in same position. The language school is expensive and I have been told doesnt teach a vast amount of Spanish/Catalan.
The thought of sending them to a local school is really scary but might be the only option!

Some of the the local schools are excellent although the education is a little different from England, But if you / your child are aiming to stay and live in Spain it is the best route,
If they expect to go on to Spanish university Barcelona and others are taught in Catalan, So without a Spanish education ( lessons here are in Catalan, The kids tend to speak Spanish in the playground) they may have problems,
If you send them to the international school, Do not expect them to be able to speak much more than 1 - 10 in Spanish if you are lucky (or learn anything else)
Have a good one
