Golf Societies in Malaga Province

Hi folks,

We are a married couple in our 50's working in the middle east but having a property near marbella.

We visit Spain twice a year are looking for a social golfing society to join as a means of introduction to golf in the Costa Del Sol.

We shall be over again around Christmas 2008. Would appreciate any info on golf in the area.

We play with a social golf society here in the middle east and playing in 42c is the norm in summer and it drops to 24c during the winter so we are not used to playing in the cold and wet. LoL.

There are many societies in costa del sol,my hubbie plays in 2 ,one at Miraflores golf on a monday and the other with the Torreblanca society they play different courses every thursday.Pick up a copy of the Costa Del Sol Golf News.

there are lots of different society's out there and each area have many available. I know of many different ones throughout the region and it all depends on where you want to play and how often.
A friend of mine owns a golf company which brings in golfers from the UK and Ireland, and if i want to play (which isnt that often because of work ) I phone him up and see what competitions he has for the day and also gets me good deals which are less than the course price. If you go onto www.costalessgolf.com and get the number for Ron I am sure he will be able to sort you out with as amny games that you want. Also tell him Richie said hi!!!
