Football in Madrid

Hi,

I have been living in Madrid now for just over a month, and I have been keeping an eye out for any football (5/7 a side) type thing that I could join just for a kick about every week. But thus far I have come up with nada.

So I wanted to ask on this forum, if anyone knew or was a part of such a weekly meeting that I could take part in.

Thanks in advance

The way its all going pear-shaped at the Bernabe? you may get a game there.
Seriously, if you speak to Neil at the Liverpool Pe?a in Madrid I am sure he will help.

Haha

I'm a Barcelona supporter, I couldn't ever play for Real.

But 2 questions

1. Who is Neil
2. Where/what is Liverpool Pe?a

Oh dear, a cul?!!! After last night should I be talking to you?
Seriously, a good result and one of the best two teams on the field won.......and that's as generous as I get!!

A pe?a is a supporters' club and Liverpool FC (lucky to scrape a point against Hull yesterday) have their own international pe?a based in Madrid.
The secretary is Neil and you will be able to contact him through www.madridreds.com Top guy, I am sure he will try to help.

Now, I go back to facing some BCN fans who have "kindly" sent me photos of last nights game .....wearing their "anti-madridista scarves"!

It's going to be even sweeter when we guarantee the league near the end of the season at the Bernabe?!

Ahhh I see.

I am also a Manchester United supporter, and were it not for the fact that I really really needed to play football for my own sanity then I would not accept help from a Liverpool man. Haha.

But desperate times and all that lol.

I will give Liverpool pe?a a look.

Thanks for the information.

EXCELLENT - I am also a "true" RED....I bought on Salford Quays so I could walk to the Theatre of Dreams ...but as you say we have to accpet help from our misguided friends. Disappointing result at Tottenham yesterday and no repeat of that great 5-3 victory when we had been 3 down!

Off to M?laga v Numancia today ..... at least the sun is shining!

So I assume there is no Man Utd Pe?a here in Madrid then.

Ahh well.

I guess the plan will be to infiltrate and then conquer, lol.

They'll never see it coming. (Cue mad evil laugh)
