Can anybody tell me what options there are for HDTV in Spain? I am pretty sure Canal plus offers it, but it's more expensive then I would like.

D+ is currently has a number of HD channels on offer.
Not too sure about the cabels companies like Ono though.

There have been some Canal 9 HD tests on TDT recently, and some areas have also had some form of TVE HD tests, also on TDT.

It may be an idea to wait for a bit for more HD choice to be available in Spain, as then TDT HD receiver will be more available, and then the HD with PVR (hard disk0 etc also.)

As far as I know, ONO amazingly does not have HD. I quite understand how a large cable provider does not offer it yet. Seems a little dated to me.

What is happening in the New year that we can expect more HD??

who knows...this IS Spain....!!!

I am sure as more HD cahnnels become available on D+, that their equivilents will start to appear on cable....

Even in the UK many HD channels on SKy are not on Virgin cable yet!!!!

And I am sure that as more analogue terrestrial signals get switched off (next switchoff is 31st Dec!), more capacity will be freed for more TDT Premium (ie pay TDT) and HD TDT channels....
