Calls to mobiles are also considerably cheaper at 12p per min to UK mobiles.
All you need is a broadband connection. When you order the vonage system you will recieve a vonage box, simply plug the box into your broadband, plug your telephone into the vonage box and you can start calling.
An additional benefit to this system is that you can choose a UK telephone number for your phone, enabling callers from the UK to call you too for the cost of a local call to them. If they also have a Vonage phone then calls are FREE for you both, wherever you are in the world.
You use Vonage just like you use any phone service. Once you’re set up, you carry on making and receiving calls just like you did before. Just pick up the phone, no headsets required, wait for the dialling tone, and then dial. The only difference you’ll see will be in your bills, which will be much lower.
