HI. Can anyone help. I have just noticed on a bank Receipt that my pension from the UK goes to Banco Popular Espania first and then to my bank, La Caixa, does anyone know the reason for this and am I possibly loosing out on charges.

This must be you own bank back in the UK that doing this , Both bank in spain are very big players on the Int Market

I know i used Irish bank to wire money via the net and only cost me 75 cent evry time , Allied Irish Bank (GB) is a trademark used under licence by AIB Group Irl
and it take 3 - 4 work days from uk to Spain ,

Rote is AIB uk to AIB Ireland and then to my account here in spain
Cheap And Cheerful and happy here
