Hi I am inquiring about qualifications of teachers for the summer in Spain. I have a teaching certificate k-12 with special education from th US. Would I still need to take the TEFL course in order to teach in Spain over the summer? I have family studying at Nebreha and was thinking of spending the summer in Madrid and possibly teaching in a summer camp or for a private or business. Any information would be wonderful.

Your best bet would be to teach at a summer camp. Your qualifications should be sufficient to get a job, although the TEFL course itself would help significantly (with your expectations and general competence) if you’ve not taught ESL before.
