Do you know a man who calls himself Graham Smith Inventor and who lives in Javea?

He is currently under investigation by the Guardia Civil for alleged fraudulent activities.

It is alleged he took nearly ?30’000 from unsuspecting members of the public who thought they were buying heating agencies in Spain only to recieve nothing after Graham Smith took their money. As many as 6 different people have allegedly been taken in by him.

He also runs a company called ecoads and is trying to get more people to invest their hard earned cash into it.

Its not going to make the press yet. Its an ongoing investigation.

And there are scams going on every minute in Spain, certainly bigger ones than this, so im sure the press has many stories to choose from.
Not that this isn’t a big scam because Im sure the people who have been caught up in it would certainly describe it as such. If you think it is only me saying it you can PM me and I can supply many more details.
This is just one investigation of many that the Guardia will be undertaking. The point is that it needs to go on record so that Mr Graham Smith from Javea can’t do this to more innocent people.

He has been mentioned on one other Expat site, I won’t name it as its a place for Trolls and false info to run riot, its abit of a club for expats to moan about the UK whilst feeling lonely in their villa’s.

Its alleged that this guy sells franchises and does not pay, having seen the adverts and the product its obviously a scam.

His figures state the business turns over 340,000 Euros per annum and he’ll sell a franchise for 9,000 Euro’s including 20,000 Euros worth of stock, so there are no warning signs there then.

The system cannot work its technically flawed.

He cannot provide details of clients apart from 2, so how he turns over 340,000 is questionable, maybe he should go on Dragons Den.

Well Graham Smith Inventor…thats what he likes to call himself….has now been denounced about 3 times and one of the denouncer’s lawyers is going to court next week I believe. Graham Smith from Javea also runs a company called ecoads.eu and other solar type energy saving products are sold elsewhere. He has a thing called a smithbench which is mean’t to be a thing like a bus shelter which has solar powered lighting. He says he has one situated outside an Asda store but when the store was contacted they knew nothing of it. There is an article about his benches in the Southampton echo but that is also a load of rubbish. Basically this guy Graham Smith Inventor is good at inventing one thing..allegedly..scams.
However what I should say is that the only part of the Calfri heating system that is supposed to be his is the compressor cooler. Everything else for the heating including the low ebergy boiler and the radiators are actually excellent products and manufactured by huge european companies who are leaders in their field. So the heating system is an excellent alternative to gas or oil central heating as it is run by this ‘state of the art’ low energy electric boiler. The scam is in the supposed ‘cooling’..he says he patented it and it dosen’t exist. The people who bought agencies off Graham Smith got scammed because they thought they were buying a central COOLING and heating system which of course would have been amazing if it existed. Graham Smith told them all it did and took them all for around ?30’000. To date he has not paid a single cent back…basically he’s done a runner with their cash. So the fact is that the cooler compressor never existed and that is why the Guardia are investigating an alleged fraud.

Heating systems have been installed by the agents and they work extremely well if the system/layout is designed correctly. But the customers will never get their ‘magic’ coolers.
Fortunately one or two of the agents had the foresight and the integrity not to charge the customers for the cooling part even though Graham Smith wanted them to. They simply said “we are not charging the customers for something that have not got yet”.

Obviously unbeknown to them..they would never be able to give their customers the cooler. Now those same agents are filing denuncia’s against Graham Smith and the Guardia are closing in.

Man, I love that show. Is there a way to watch it online outside the UK? Are they still making new episodes?

An update to this situation is that Graham Smith was arrested recently by the Guardia and released pending further equiries. However, since his arrest he has been denounced two more times from different people who were the unfortunate agents who paid thousands for his non-existent heating and COOLING system. It is now known that at lesast one agenty actually recieved absolutely nothing for his money neither heating or cooling but Graham Smith kept their money anyway.
It is also a matter of official record now (denuncia numbers can be supplied) that he threatened to ‘send round’ to the house of one of the agents a ‘person’ to ‘collect’ more money from the poor agent.  He was officially denounced for this action and the Guardia have the details. The whole case has now been introduced to court and an official court code has been given. This can also be supplied on request.
All these points are now officially recorded as fact and all the appropriate references can be supplied upon request.
The National Police are also now involved in this case along with the Guardia Civil since one of the many denuncias filed against Graham Smith Inventor from Javea have been taken by them.
Graham Smith also runs a company called ecoads.eu as well as solarvending.com and of course the original scam company calfri.eu is still unbelievably advertising. All these companies add up to lots of opportunities to scam innocent people.
Allegedly the evil swine also involved his wife Monica and his two daughters in the scam. Allegedly He is also thought to have bought horses for his daughters and a new car for his wife off the back of the ill gained money he allegedly scammed from the Calfri agents.
Ecoads.eu is just another of Graham Smith’s scam revenue streams.

Any person now unfortunate enough to not to do their research into Mr Smiths other solar energy saving or his eco friendly products and hand over money to him will regrettably no doubt lose their money in the same way as the poor agents who trusted him enough to give in some cases, their life savings.

This website is provided by Webs.com (http://solarinvestment.webs.com/theinventor.htm)  This is a free service that is used by hundreds of young people who can not afford a dot com account or a URL site of their own.  If you scroll down to the bottom of the http://solarinvestment.webs.com/theinventor.htm Website, you will see that you too can have one at no cost to you only your time building it.

So much for his millions that he boasts he earns from his products, you would have thought he would get a Dot Com account and have his products displayed by a real webmaster, so some questions should be asked about all his wheeling’s and dealings.  You can see some of his outlandish claims here Graham Smith Inventor So WHY is this guy using a FREE webservice?

OK - So why are you intent on creating this thread and replying with such pertinent information?
You are involved in this by how ?  Know someone who was an installer trying to clear names ?

Seems quite a passionate depth you are going to here ? Hmm….

DSB don’t take this the wrong way, but…........

He’s behind you !!!

Did you look, I bet you did.

I’ve read a few of your recent posts and you seem to be a bit…... paranoid lately.

On a more serious note its good to here that this muppet has been dealt with, there are many more British Expat’s selling there dodgey goods in Spain, why, well the Spanish don’t have a great legal system for there own people and nobody really cares about Guiri’s being ripped off.

You only have to read the recent comments concerning the Ley de Costa law and the govt ministers response to UK MEP’s comments to see how loyal Spain is to immigrants.

A UK MP is asking the foreign office to issue a warning against buying property in Spain until the issue is addressed.

This Graham Smith from Javea is obviously still doing fraudious business. A friend of mine ordered a solarpanel system from his company freeelectricspain.com. She paid around 2000 euro deposit. But she never received either the order ed equipment nor the deposit back. This man is a sick narcissist, cold as ice, Who you’d Better stay far away from.
