ISO room to rent in Comares, Colmenar, Malaga area

Would like to leave soon from here in the US for the Andalucia region, Comares in particular, for a 4-to-6 week 'reconnaissance' of the area to help in deciding whether or not I will buy a house/sailboat in the area. Would prefer an accommodation in one of the villages or in Malaga. I will not be spending much time wherever I stay as my 'mission' is to get to know as much as I can - on foot and with rented car - about the people/places in the time I am there - so a shower and a cot will do!
