I am residing down in Mallorca for the summer and with limited access to electronics shops out here thought I’d ask here for some suggestions.

Back home is New Zealand there are many online PC and electronics shops as well as price comparason sites such as pricespy.co.nz

I assume there must be the same sort of thing in Spain.

Specifically, Id like to purchase things like, computer cables, memory storage for digital cameras and some ipod speakers.

I am afraid I usually do my best to shop around locally and put business through local computer shops - then compare the price even including delivery from Amazon or Dabs in the UK, and end up getting stuff shipped!

Not only can I reply to this thread, but in the process actually found the answers to all my current HiFi Choices.  I’ve been looking for someone to ship to Spain regarding items of upper spec 7.1 Receivers / Speakers etc.

So, what I did was goto What HiFi online and looked into their Dealer Section.
Low and behold I found a British Company which states it ships anywhere in the World ! This information was not easy to find as I simply opened about 50 links and looked at everyones Delivery Protocols (thank me later)

You could also try Carrefour on the outskirts of Palma for in-person shopping.
Certainly our local Carrefour carries most of the stuff you are looking for.

Laptop in English in Spain?

Many expatiates all over Spain find it difficult to buy a computers in English in Spain.  They sell laptops in English in Gibraltar and the laptop comes with English Keyboard and English software in Gibraltar. If you cannot visit Gibraltar you can get a English laptop from Gibraltar delivered to to Spain. 

You can visit a laptop shop in Gibraltar called Netgear. All laptops and computers are in English . The keyboards are in English and the operating system is in English. The computer store in Gibraltar is in a side street between the Cathedral and Marks & Spencers in Gibraltar. They sell the complete Sony Vaio range as well as Toshiba, Fujitsu and DELL.

If Gibraltar is too far away to visit you can buy a laptop in English Online. Visit their website http://www.netgear.gi and you can buy computer equipment in English from their store. All the manuals are in English, all the software is in English and they deliver to Spain.
