I live in the Murcia region at Calasparra, a small town close to Carava.
In my three years of residency here I have been unable to locate any purchase of Okra, sometimes called Lady’s Fingers.
Can anybody suggest where I can obtain this vegetable? within reasonable driving distance of my home?

Have you tried the Arab grocery shops in Murcia city?  I noticed there were a few ethnic shops in the area, serving the Muslim population.  The vegetable is popular in the Middle East, so it might be worth a try when you’re next in town.

I finally found Okra at a Chinese grocery here in Barcelona. Perhaps you have a Chinese market near you?
