In the Costa Blanca last October, we had a bank hol around the 8th, and it was our last picnic day on the beach that year - still sunny bathing weather. Not sure you could always count on sunshine but if you come for a week you are likely to be be lucky for some of it, and the sea will be warm and wonderful. Temperatures are often a bit better further south than we are anyway,

Malaga enjoys an average of 330 days of sun each year with an average temperature of 22?C. And the weather is usually good during that time.

The weather was very good last October in Malaga, all through October and until the end of November. The worst months are generally jan, feb & march when you get all the rain.

Once we get to Oct you can never be sure! (Although last year was exceptional with dry/hot weather to end of Oct!)
Can rain, can be hot!
As others said above.
