Moving family to Madrid for teaching job

Greetings:
I have recently been offered a teaching job at a Madrid high school for Sept to June contract. I would need to move my husband, and two children (10 yrs and 6 yrs) as well.

The pay seems a little low with it being 20,400 euros (after tax) for the 10 months. Do you think this is feasible to live off of for a family of four? This also includes my health benefits but not the rest of the family's. Also, we are not planning on having a car. We could get away with a 2 bdrm flat but 3 bdrm would be better. If this income does not seem feasible, how hard would it be for my husband to find work? Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the high school yet and where in Madrid it is located, but any suggestions for finding housing would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
