Buying thyroxine in a pharmacy in Spain?

I’m planning to spend six months or so in Spain. I take a prescription medication for underactive thyroid which my doctor checks me for once a year. I can only get two months supply at a time from the NHS, so I was wondering if anyone knows if it is sold over the counter (ie without a prescription) in the farmacia, to save me registering with a Spanish doctor? Thanks in advance for any info.

The answer appears to be ...probably!

See this link where the question has been asked previously…

Take the UK packaging to a farmacia so they can check the dosage and constituents to come up with an alternative if they don’t have the exact material.
