my last topic got spammed-foxbat please help

i asked about whether anyone knew more about air traffic/airport staff control strike and some one replied going on about shoes and handbags - i have asked them not to spam, but what is the procedure? is it best not to reply at all? now i know what you have to put up with! thanks, art

My ADSL was down for a while so I missed the Spam post it would have surely met with the axe if Jurdy hadn'!t got there first.

Spammers unfortunately have a nasty habit of plying their wares anywhere they think they can get away with it.
All we as moderators can do is try and stay on top of the situation.
Unfortunately they actually have to post it before we can delete it!
