Hi, can anyone tell me if there is a choice regarding supply of water & electric to a property?
The house I am referring to was once connected with Aguagest & Iberdrola, but are no longer connected. (Over 5yrs.!)
Can anybody please tell me how to get these utilities re-connected?
I would appreciate any help regarding these matters asap.
Kind regards
Bev

Go to the offices of both, they will tell you the documents needed.
It could mean a new certificate from an authorised electrician, and a certificate from the local council confirming that the property is registered and habitable, having rights then to be connected to main services.

So first trip is to the suppliers who can then ask you for any papers needed., with luck not many.

I would guess that most would speak some English.

With electric supplies there is supposedly competition these days. In principle you can get any of the suppliers to connect you up again. It's true that they'll want to do an inspection, when I had to do it, it was free, don't know about now though. The three big electric suppliers are Iberdrola, Endesa and Gas Natural/Fenosa. Depending where you live there may be others.
Try their telefone numbers that are on the back of my electric bill:

Gas Natural: 902200850
Iberdrola: 901201520
Endesa: 902530053

Water is usually supplied by a council run company, so there'll not be any alternative company.
