Hi Everyone,

Im here to find out as much information as possible as i can before starting the long hideous process of visas and work permits.

Firstly unfortunately for me im Australian so i know this is a hard process. Ive had the UK 2 year visa which ran out last year but have been living in the Czech Republic working for a UK company for about 18 months now, just in the process of re-newing my CZ visa right now.
I’m lucky enough to have found a great job with a small UK company based in prague (who i have worked with for about 14 months) who has permission to hire foreigners here in the CZ as they need native english speakers. Now they are in the process of re-locating the business to Spain and hope to do so by late June this year.
They want me to come and will do all they can to make this possible but I really just want to know how realistic this will be.

Does anyone know or can anyone give me any advice on the matter?

A similar website here in Prague for expats helped me do everything from jobs, accommodation to even friends who i still have now, when i arrived in Prague so hopefully spainexpat can help me now too!!

Czech Republic is in Schengen I think so it might be as easy as a transfer since you already have a visa that allows you to work in the EU. I would check with either the local Czech visa issuer or with the Spanish embassy.

I don’t know much about transfering, but I will ask my girlfriends brother , he knows about these sorts of things, but as long as you have all the right papers, I can’t forsee any problems

Thanks for your reply. That would be great if you could ask for me. I do have all the papers and in about 3 weeks ill have my new CZ visa for another year.
