My daughters passport runs out on 20th sept 2009 and we are returning to the UK in August.Can she still travel on it,as i do not want to renew untill i get back.

I think there will not be any problem with exiting Spain

I know she can leave spain but can she enter France and the UK .I am driving back with dogs so the chance is our documents will be checked.

If she is UK citizen, of course she can enter UK. You can always say you are returning to change passport on the new one. Regarding France - not sure. Better to check regulations on entering.
