people give out about Telefonica but there the back bone off the system , that like bt in uk , Fine them ok here but on bussine account with lot ddsl lines , i have very hight up load out work and big downloads to remote sites , phone bill here is big . as home fine it good but with lot kids on line it slow down , think same every where

They are UK-based only - due to licensing laws which determine which countries can show a programme, when. This is to account for the case where, say, France has bought the rights to show a UK programme, and they dont want their revenue hit by people being able to see it earlier. Also, the “uk-only” bit is done by examining the ip address you are using. So you can be sitting in spain, and still be connecting from a UK IP address - that’s what re-routers do. used a ip address from the uk

You can rent a UK proxy server for a few Euros a month - there are loads of providers, have a google and you’ll soon find one.  Then you can access Iplayer, 4od etc without difficulty,
