Tandori nights indian are advertising credit crunching half price curries for febuary and march sunday-wednesdays.My parents have come here for a holiday so we decided to go for this advertised half price deal with my two daughters aged 8 and 11.
When the bill came there was no discount, the bill was for the full priced curries.
The waiter told me i should have asked for half price before we ordered although the SIGN outside said nothing of this, only offering only what looks like a reasonable deal.
The end result was we were locked in and my children were locked out as they had gone outside as they were so scared. The waiter and cook tried to make us pay full price but i wont be bullied,i saw red and stuck to paying the discounted price.
It was a tandori night to remember but for all the wrong reasons.BEWARE

I agree with Jurdyr - complain at the local town hall and write to the local papers.

So if you had asked for half price curries when you ordered you would probably got half sized meals.

That is not funny as kids were involved.

I would have completely lost it and got very angry if anyone tried to do this to me. By way of making a point I would complain to the town hall and also write to the local rag just like others have mentioned.

You wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else would you?!

Glad you came out of it unscathed.

I agree with Jurdyr - complain at the local town hall and write to the local papers.

The correct way to deal with this is to complete a “hojas de reclamaciones” a copy of this is then sent to the Oficina de Consumo (usually associated or located within your Ayuntamiento) this will then initiate an official enquiry which will cause the restaurant a few headaches and may get a censure

Every retail establishment should have these forms available by law!! as I understand it
