opps, just posted this in the wrong forum, so here goes again, sorry!

hi there,

Does anyone know of good state schools or state subsidised schools in Palma de Mallorca or the surrounding area that have a good mix of local and english speaking children?
We want to move to Mallorca next year and are looking for good local schools that give us the chance to meet other english speaking families as well.
I appreciate the help!

cheers

Hi,
We haven’t decided on which part of the city to move to, for us that depends on the school first. One of the priorities for us is to find a good, smallish, school that has a good mix of local spanish and english speakers. So far we are open to suggestions!
Thanks for the reply.

Hi,

We are in a similar situation with an 11 year old daughter. We will locate to the area a decent school is located preferably with some English kids in the same year. Would also be interested to correspond with anyone who’s made the transition to compare notes so we can avoid any pitfalls.

Would be interested to hear from anyone

Hi Pete,

I will let you know if I hear of anything, you could try getting in contact with the English Residents Association in Mallorca.
