I sent the following email to Edited email jurdy I will let you know of any response.
Dear Mr Cameron,
I believe there are something in excess of 850,000 UK voters currently living or working or retired in other EU member states.
On our web forums and blogs etc, we have started to discuss what a Conservative voctory in the next UK General Election might mean for us.
If you bow to pressure to hold a referendum on UK membership of the EU, and the UK electorate vote for withdrawal from the Union, what will be the position of UK residents living in EU states?
Gone will be our entitlement to reciprocal health care, pensions and social secutiry in our adopted countries. Gone will be our right to live and work on an equal footing with other EU nationals anywhere in the Union.
These 850,000 UK nationals living in other EU countries are starting to feel worried. And we do have votes in the UKGeneral ERlection.
I should bve gatreful for your thoughts on (a) The liklihood of a referendum on UK membership of the EU and (2) Your assessment on the impact of a withdrawl decision on the lives and economic propsects of UK nationals living, working or retired in EU countries, should the UK cease to be an EU member.
Many thanks for ytour time and I look forward to your response
