Do I need to apply for a card? Or can I just go see a doctor with this number?

Thank you.

Go to your local Medical (Doctors) and the receptionist will do the rest.
This is only that you do not have a Job Of Course… If you dont then ask them to apply the Section 29 Rulling for yourself…
If you are working then your employer Will do your medical card.
If you been to SS Office I am surprised they didnt print and Stamp A medical form for you (If you are not Working)

Regards

Well as long as you are sure there handling your paperwork…

you will have to wait for your card to come through the post…

If you have proof of this you need to go to the medical center (Doctors) and explain to them you are waiting for paper work to come through and card… They can put you on Emergency care (Section 29)...

If And this is if you have Private health care then you are ok.

Thank you.
Yes, they provided me a paper with my SS and my company SS (here in Spain) on it.
I don’t have a private health care plan (yet? - still wondering if I should)

Ok…

Well as you have no “Cover” yet… I would strongly recommed that you go to your nearest doctors and ask them that your medical card is on its way through work and you need Emergency Cover… They will put you on the Medical Sec 29 Which will only cover you for Province that you live in and no were else…

Private medical care in some cases is a must however Your company may already be paying this?

WELCOME TO SPAIN BY THE WAY 😊

If you have Partner & Children It is important that you register quickly with a doctor…

There is a European ruling that all EU Citizens get free 90 / 100 days (Not sure weather its 90 or 100) Health insurance cover While they move to Europe I Just cannot find the Link!

When I do I will post it Or Jurdyr May have it?

Would it be easiest to “prove” the system, IE go to the Doctor for an appointment, see what happens and review the results, that will be the TEST, any issues, as your company appear to employing a Gestoria to carry out the registration work, you can put the issues(If any) back to them to solve
