Might be an opportunity with one of the wireless broadband providers who are largely English owned and targetted at the English speaking community in Spain?

Here in Valencia, in the villages and towns, there is a big call for internet and telephone systems as a lot of houses and urbanisations are STILL without telephone lines.
Telefonica is an incredible company, they need a damn good shaking up, you never know they might be crying out for a trained employee!
There are lots of services being offered here in the city, vodafone, tele2, jazztel, ono, orange just to name a few.

Spanish is very important in this area too, well its what you would expect really as we are in spain no?

good luck with the move, hopefully you will work for telefonica and be able to introduce some of the British customs to their service such as: actually showing up to install conections, being reasonably polite to your customers and making sure everything works before you leave. lol:)

Seriously though, life in Spain is good if you have the means to get by. You may have to settle for a job outside of your trade to start with. Im down the coast in Malaag province and work in Gib - this might be another option for you if you have limited Spanish language skills but still need to earn more than the average Spanish wage of ?1000PCM

Cheers
