Hi Everyone,

I just moved to Madrid from Colorado and thought I’d say hello. Like many of the posts I’ve read, I am 31, have no children, and have a fiance who works lots of hours so I spend much of my time alone. I’m a teacher so I don’t start working until September 1. If there’s anyone out there who wants to meet up, knows of any good clubs I can join, or has any other suggestions on where I can begin to meet people and make some friends of my own, I’d love to hear from you. Similar situation here…no children and the boyfriend works a ton of hours sometimes!! Been here a month so know a few good places to go if you fancy a drinking buddy?? We moved here from Liverpool, England and now live in Alameda De Osuna. Where about in Madrid you moved to??

I am also new to Madrid am 32, originally Scottish, from Aberdeen, moved here last wednesday and boyfriend also works like a trojan in Madrid (and around), though he has been here for 2 years so he knows Madrid well.  I would like to meet some new people as well as being on the hunt for a job at the moment as far too much spare time and my spanish is taking its time to sink in…
