Hello,
I am going to be moving to Marbella in August and have just accepted a teaching post in a school just outside of Puerto Banus.  I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice about good property areas for long term rental in or around Puerto Banus?

Many thanks!  😊

Hi Mac,

That would be fantastic, thank you very much.  I have been looking on the internet and have noticed the prices are around 750 euros which is fine.  I am going out to Puerto Banus at the end of July for a week where I am hoping to be looking at a few apartments there or in neighbouring locations on the outskirts of Puerto Banus.

Do you want to live in Puerto Banus/Nueva Andalucia (other side of the main road) or would you be prepared to commute?

Well I am taking my car with me so i will be able to commute to and from work.  I do not mind if it is in Nueva Andalucia.

Just make sure your Car (Presuming its From The UK) is taxed, MOT, Most importantly has EU Insurance… As a lot of Guardia Civil or Traffic Cops Will check your car and if its not right paperwork wise It goes on a back of a lorry and gets impounded and bye bye car!

Hi Mac,
Yep definitely, i have done a lot of research into this, so hopefully i am all prepared.  I will have my car switched onto Spanish plates as soon as i get there, as i know i only have a maximum of 6 months to get that sorted.
