Although only 16, myself and my friend plan on moving to Spain next year around summertime for 12 months before uni. We would just have turned 17 when we move and quite fancy Barcelona to rent a place and get jobs. We have done a lot of research on moving to Barcelona and it seems like it is not a cheap way to live. Although we already have savings and plan on saving for the next year i am wondering if it is a good idea? Would somewhere else in Spain be more realistic? We have our hearts set on moving to Spain and are up for any challenge. Any help, tips and adivce would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:)

The big challenge will be finding work.  If you have a year in hand, I would devote yourself to learning the best Spanish that you possibly can, that will be your best chance - good luck!
