Hello everyone. 

My name is Ben and I have moved to Barcelona a few weeks back.  I am an Executive in a company in Cameroon.  However, I am currently on a six month sabbatical.  I have decided to pass my time here in Barcelona since my girlfriend is living and working here.  I also see it as a great chance to relearn Spanish and to enjoy the culture. 

I have found that the Spanish are a little closed and it is not so easy to meet locals.  Thus, a job would be wounderful.  It could help me meet people, learn Spanish, and fill my time.  As I do not have a work permit and understand that it is about impossible to get one I am willing to “volunteer” my time.  In general I have done a little bit of everything in my life and I have yet to find a job that I could not do.  I will gladly send my resume to anyone interested. 

Further, I am available for any odd jobs.  I have done construction, gardening, childcare, etc. in the past and would enjoy anything to fill my time.  However, since these type of jobs probably will not help me meet people or learn Spanish I think a reasonable fee might be called for depending on the job.

The Red Cross, Oxfam could also be lookin for help.

There are some homeless groups helpin in the nights, but I believe there employed, although it may be worth a look.

Gettin a job in a business, although your offering free employment could be a bit difficult.
