Hi out there,
We will be moving out to Alhaurin el Grande later this year YIPEE!  Had the removal people here today for estimates. Please can anyone out there advise on whether the cost of nursery plants is similar to UK ,only we wanted to bring some ornamental trees we have in pots but if it would be a similar cost to replace them then we would factor this into our decision making on what comes with us and what stays to drown in another wet autumn. Looking forward to meeting people when we are out there. Bye for now and thanks in anticipation.

Hi,

I am not particularly green fingered but have bought various plants for the garden over the past few years , the prices are probably like for like but the plants that tend to thrive here are those that are more native to the soil and climate conditions . Pot plants in my experience are a disaster here unless watered twice a day in the summer months even things like mint / rosemary can die overnight ! I would wait until you get here and suss out what’s in your neighbours garden !

Also when we moved over Pickfords managed to break pretty solid items so can’t see ornamental plants taking the journey , best of luck .
