i know this is a very long shot but i am trying to find my dad.he was last living in nerja is age 68 and not in great health. i lost the last number i had for him and now need to find him urgently with family news. his name is george franklin swift. he has always been known as frank.  his last girlfriend was called lynne and although i spoke to her a while ago when he was in hospital i didnt get a number in my shock.
i hope someone will have heard of him and can pass on this message from his daughter

thanks for the reply. i was hoping i wouldnt have to contact the british consol as i didnt want to alarm him if it can be avoided as his health is not good (he may even have passed away)

i have contacted the consular in malaga and they have no info which is hopeful for him still being alive . but his passport expired in 2007 .

Have you tried putting something in the local paper,might be a long shot but worth trying.Good luck

i am not sure what i can do to find my dad he was last in hospital in malaga and released from there and they would not give me his address even if they could speak english (the consular spoke to them) we have always been in regular contact with him. he has done some bar work during the summers in nerja and claims a pension.his name is george franklin swift but is known as frank.  its so hard from this country to do anything and i need some concrete leads if i am to fly out in the summer
