we are hoping to relocate to the mar menor area of the costa calida in october /november 2006, can anyone please tell me if there are likely to be any employment opportunities? and if there are any othe ex pats living in the area?  many thanks jane

Have you checked with some of the recruiting agencies? They’d probably know more about the jobs situation there…

Anyone else live around there?

Yes there are plenty of ex-pats living in the area. Up and down the coast.

Work is not easy, it really depends upon what you can do & probably more importantly what you will do.

Although you will not get anything like the salary that you do in the UK.

It is cheaper than UK to live here, so don’t need so much money.
